Oh, hey, one more pokémon piece!
This is from about two years ago, drawn when I was still studying comics in Liminka school of arts, but it got lost before I managed to scan it. Just found it again today after sorting some papers on my bookshelf.
This is Indigo, the same blastoise than in these sketches: [link] before he became blastoise. He lost his eye in an illegal (as in overly violent fight to-the-death sort of fight, not the sort of let's-have-fun-and-fair-game normal pokémon fights) before being confiscated in police raid and released to the wild. Didn't stop him.
This drawing includes the most convenient accidental ink smudges ever.

I was once victim of an accident with ink as well.
The Sun Will Set For You
The grass straw in the middle, where it looks like seeds or something is flying off it, was an accident. I dropped the pipette from the ink jar straight to the almost finished painting.
I died inside.
But then I figured I could give it a try and save it by drawing a line from the blob and make it into a grass straw. In the end, it made the image even better.
I'd say the ink smudges did the same for you as it did for me. It made everything even better
