I'm having a boring moment at school right now so listed some of my life goals to fill the boringness.

Objectives:
1. First earn crapton of money. Somehow.
2. Spend it all by accidentally falling into a pile of commissions.
3. Earn another crapton of money.
4. Spend it on the following (no particular order required):
- One-eyed Bibarel plushie. I want Molla plush to hang around with in conventions.
- Find a good fursuit maker somewhere and ask if they could use their awesome fursuit making powers in making hand puppets instead. I really want Wurr puppets.
- Actually Wurr plushies sound pretty awesome too. But I really want those puppets.
- Cat skull. Domestic one (stay away from anything that even smells like being listed on CITES and you know how many feline species are listed there)
- More commissions. Never too many commissions.
- Make people happy.
- Wolf skull replica, because real wolf is CITES. Do not mess with CITES.
- Cat. Living one. My life needs a cat.
- Oh, and pay off that student loan of yours. Requires another crapton of money. Don't worry about it now, it's future me's problem.
5. World domination.
6. Get bored of world domination.
7. Get back to drawing comics.

Well, get a real cat, wait 15 to 25 years, find someone with a flesh-eating beetle colony, and you've accomplished two goals in one. I'm.... probably doing this with my dog when the time comes, instead of cremating XD

Do you think that a southern sea lion skull would fit in your list? Are you going to do world domination politicaly, religiously, or military wise?

'Don't worry about it now, it's future me's problem.' Best solution to any problem right there. ;P

'Make people happy' - I think you started that goal when you began posting WURR pages. Seeing those updates in my inbox makes me happy, at least. =)

TD;DR

CITES (the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) is an international agreement between governments. Its aim is to ensure that international trade in specimens of wild animals and plants does not threaten their survival.

If you want your animal part to be legal go through CITES.

furthermore, if you want a real animal part that is CITES you go through a crapton of paperwork and just as much money as well if you are shipping from one country to another.

on that note, customs, in some countries are assholes about animal parts even if they are CITES and may just confiscate it.

Its just less trouble to get a replica of bones.

You're evil. Now I want to make Wurr-puppets.

Oh, and you're planning on getting something alive, too? A shame you can't really put a cat in a box and send it to another country. Panda needs a new home.

Omg number four had me cracking up. Molla and Wurr plushies/puppets would be -amazing-. Imo don't go to a fursuit maker, though. As a maker myself, I can say we don't really have inherent plushie making skill. XD They're different construction-wise than fursuits. But I can tell you there are a lot of good plushie makers out there (some of which also happen to be fursuit makers, coincidentally). Actually Matrices could probably do a Molla plush some justice: [link]

All-in-all... good set of plans. I approve.

Haha, glad I could amuse you! :D
Oh, I was mainly thinking about fursuiters for some of the jaw mechanisms I've seen. I'd love to have a puppet with moving jaws and matching teeth (just a bust is fine with me, as the idea is to have my hand inside it to move the mouth).

Thanks for the recommendation, though! Now I just need that crapton of money.

Ah I see what you mean!

Yeah tell me about it on the money. XD Even small, simple plushies tend to get really expensive. Good luck on that!

Oh, definitely! I'm planning on adopting a cat someday in the future, but my current life situation isn't ready for it yet (I live in a pretty small appartment and am pretty much constantly broke by default).

I've seen some pelt makers and such on here, who have got domestic cat stuff occasionally from roadkill (uncollared/chipped ones obviously), maybe you could keep an eye out for this sort of thing? Yourself I mean. Look for dead cats? :P
If CITES papers aren't hard sounds like a nice idea. But I wouldn't know whether that's simple or a real pain. I could see it going either way, maybe ask them or something.
Wouldn't a plushie maker anyway be more appropriate for puppets than a fursuit maker?
Why do I feel the need to make way longer posts than is ever necessary?

CITES is international legality regarded endangered species and the trade in them/their products. Or something.
