Surprise! A new page at last!
This was my first really free weekend that I could spend on myself in AGES! And after a Saturday of doing absolutely nothing but loaf around and scribbling some harpies, I decided to finish this page off. Man, there's going to be lots of talking in the next few pages. I don't want to draw just a collection of talking heads! D8
But anyway, here it is! After all these months of being busy and stuck with the story. And it's way past my bedtime, but instead of actually going to sleep in time for once, I decided to scan this while it's still fresh.
Must go to sleep now, I still have half of my final assihnment to color and I noticed that I have to re-animate one scene since it's way too fast as it is now. Yay!
Riega is surprisingly fun to draw. That long, slim eyebrowlessness gives him an interesting look, don't ya think? With underlined eyes.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactI really adore this comic so far, the plot is interesting and original, as well as all the characters. All the pages have high quality black and white shading, which suits this comic fine. Though would be nice if this comic would be coloured, so would be possible to see what colour the new characters are as soon as they arrive. Now we must always wait for WolfPearl to draw a seperate picture of them. What I really admire is the fact that there's no digital media used, apart from the text. Nowadays it's rare to find traditional web comics with this quality.
However, in my opinion the story is proceeding a bit too slowly, I would like to see the creatures leave the Crater already. The characters are a bit anonymous too, I still haven't learned a lot about their personalities.
