Hi peeps! I'm finally back from my holiday break. I just arrived less than an hour ago, and although it's sad to leave my family (and my mom's/brother's cookings) I must say that I've really missed my scanner and Photoshop too. It's nice to be able to scan stuff again without a huge hassle and low quality.

I wasn't as productive as I would have wanted during the break, but hey, what can you do when holidays abduct you? I hope you had fun holidays too! :)

Now I just have to pay my bills and buy some food and I can make a nest here again.

Wurr stuff me stuff.

I really love this page! Sorry this is about to be so long...

I love how you show their emotions. You seem to go for a more realistic effect, yet it's hard show emotion without eyebrows. However, it looks like you've mastered it! This is shown in panels 1-3, with Iacar's face. You can tell that he looks more concerned in 1, when he is asking if Crippled is alright, and it was only a slight change in the facial features.

Also, you've managed to make the characters' faces look the same at any angle. I've seen many artists (including myself) try to change the angle of the face, but it ends up looking strange, distorted, and like a different character altogether. In this page, Iacar's face ends up at many different angles. His face looks exceptionally difficult to draw, because of things like his elevated nose and such. Still, everything angle, including panel 2, which I really like, looks completely accurate.

The only tiny thing i noticed is his hind leg in the last panel. Something about it looks weird to me, maybe that it's far forward and makes his body look short? But in his situation, he needs that support under him, lifting that wooden bar and all, sooo... maybe that's just me trying to give a good critique and tell you SOMETHING you can improve on out of all this awesome.

I really admire the effort you put into your art, as well as the character design, because you can tell them perfectly apart, even though it's black and white. Good job!
What do you think?

I love this in adventuring groups of any kind. No key? Get the strongest member of the group to knock it down! Brute strength ALWAYS works! lol Anyways, glad to see you back, and Wurr too. Mostly glad to hear you had a good time with your family. That's awesome when it happens.
