Another page! (Still from friend's computer, own web connection still busted)

*sigh* I really liked Mooseneck's design. And now I can never use it ever again since he's dead. Aww, bummer.

Wurr stuff me stuff.

you can use Moosenecks design when you do a flashback to when they got murdered, anyway i have watched this comic since the first pages and i must say im so proud that its reached 200 pages and that its doing so well, i love how individual all the characters are and how both the dogs and the hounds arnt necessarily evil just doing what they need to do

Mooseneck looks like a long-tailed warg from LOTR online.

you could use mooseneck in a flashback?
assuming you were willing to do such a thing and it worked with the story.

Poor things....so were they simply killed and torn to bits, or were they eaten a bit?

You can do a Mooseneck offspring... or something where it's a similar design... : x

Looking at the top right panel, the first thing that jumped into my head was "Alas, poor Mooseneck! I knew him, Iacar, a fellow of infinite jest..."

I guess I have revealed myself as a Shakespeare nerd...

...I meant to say "I knew him, Morri"
Sorry, I'm starting to confuse your characters... Morri is the one with 7 eyes, Iacar only has 3.

Is Iralbe a boy or a girl? If Iralbe IS a boy that would make Surama the only girl in the pack... aaaaaawkward.

Iralbe is intersex, not a boy, nor a girl but something between. Surama is the only female. How would it be awkward? I don't understand.

I mean Surama's the only girl in a group of all boys and Iralbe. I would definitely feel kinda out of place. Surama might not though, she does kinda have a kick-ass attitude. Anyway I was looking around after I posted that and saw the "old ones" sketches, so yeah. Bone is kinda the explanation I drew from. I love Wurr! Iralbe is my favorite. Iralbe's design is the best in my opinion but i guess he/she is the most dog-looking, I kinda see my self in his/her personality.

It's stated as neither in his profile, but since Iralbe's usually referred to as a he, most consider him male.

Yes would be a shame to not see another Mooseneck design, but you can always bend that rule and make another.

Will be interesting to see what emboweled these chaps. Though would there not be more blood for such a critical wound such as this? Also for your second panel on the top right I can't directly tell who saying the quote "Mooseneck. He was a funny fellow." That is my critique so far.

why arent their throats bit through only, but also their guts ripped out? my guess they had to fight a huge bear then oO pack of dogs would focus on neck only i suppose?

:iconpaperiapina:

Actually, have you see wild dogs hunt? Targeting the throat is heck of a big risk, hunting canines usually avoid attacking from front since their victim could see them better that way and protect themselves better. Specially if the victim also has big teeth close to their neck. It's a lot safer to stay behind and rip apart the groin and belly instead.

Pffft, why would you need to apologise?
I think it might be the picture people get from nature documentaries to blame? When hunting is shown in documentaries, it's pretty often a lion or a tiger doing the killing, and cats often do go for the throat. They're built for that. But when you get to wolf documentaries, the first mental image that people get is a pack of wolves howling and the overall social behavior. The sight of a wolf pack tearing open the groin of a moose and then waiting untill it bleeds weak enough to be eaten alive isn't, for some reason, as famous image as howling.
