Titffins

Tit+griffin=titffin!

This was a fun experiment I did over few days. Visiting home is always relaxing, especially now, springtime is already so far that there's warm and sunny and all green and beautiful, but there still isn't any pollen or mosquitos to bother you. I spent the weekend from Friday to Sunday to browsing all bird and animal books we have here and sketching tits and rodent feet and this was done during past few days with pretty lazy schedule.

Titffins are small, round and fluffy creatures that have front half of a great tit and rare half of a vole (field vole? Not sure of the specific species). They are said to be a subspecies of a griffin, but that hasn't been proven. After all, these two species can't reproduce naturally, obviously, when titffins are small enough to sit comfortably on a palm of a real griffin. The size difference is huge.

Oh, and I named the tit on the right. He's Timkin. The left one doesn't have a name, but he wants to be a dragon hunter. A tiny guy, not much more than half foot long, but with an ego of a size of an elephant...
