My frend and "artistic personal trainer" Minna called me once to her place. She had got two new rats and we had had discussed about them. I've never really drawn rats before, so it was interesting to go and try. There was three of them, one older, big rat called Arska, and two smaller new ones, Julius and Roomeo. This is what I could do in two hours.

One tip, if you are ever going to draw living rats: they won't stay still. And if they do, they are probably sleeping, and usually their head pointing away from you.

For example that part of the picture where there is two rats lying next to each other. The face of the bigger rat is done in small parts. Nose is from one position, then the head moved, and upper face is drawn from other position. Ears were from third position and finally I gave up just put the eye to place where it didn't look too weird.

And afterwards I noticed that I hadn't get eny chance to draw their feet. *sigh*
