Paper reads a book by Paperiapina Paper reads a book by Paperiapina
So, I borrowed the Count of Monte-Cristo from library...

Thanks to the plumbing renovation and thesis schedule it took me three weeks to finish reading. I kind of felt like collecting my Tumblr update doodles about the experience here.

(Maybe I should borrow the three musketeers too, they're from the same author...)

Warning, the comments down here might include spoilers.

I heard that was an amazing book, I know they made an anime of it too, but I'd love to read the book. :)

It is SUUUUCH an amazing book. There's a second part too. Not as good, but good nonetheless.
The three musketeers is okay, but the second and third part I loved them, so yes, recommended! 8)

Oh my gosh The Count of Monte-Cristo! It's a classic and although it can be hard to decipher what's going on at points, it all comes together at the end brilliantly!

I used to wonder how the hell people could read such large books until I found the Eragon series and fell in love <3 The books are pretty large (well the first one isn't really) and there's four of them. When I first started reading them I thought 'oh dear this is going to take agesss' but now that I've read them all I wish there were more XD
I haven't really read a lot of non-fantasy books to be honest. I should really, now I'm getting older but I don't think I could ever grow out of fantasy books, I love them to much <3

I do that all the time. I usually don't want to give my library books back

This is exactly why I don't  use the library.  Borrowing books from them involves giving them back!

Yep I know how you feel. Whereas I have never read a book this big I love reading and at the moments I am hooked on a new series that I don't want to put down.Bookworm .
Also I don't know about you but I hate people bothering me when I am reading .Bookworm Scare I like to get engrossed in a book and it's world.
Can you see the scenes in your head when you read? I love that it's what makes me love reading so much.

I guess you will recommend? I need to read wider, and I've found I kinda like other things than fantasy. I really like the way you draw books btw. And your papermonkey's little tail.

I do very much recommend! It is a mammoth of a book (and has tons of characters to keep track of), but worth the read.

Yeah, I used to stick to fantasy when I was younger, but I have since noticed that being good isn't exclusive to a single genre. So many hidden treasures, spread around in places I didn't know to look for.

Oh, it'll be a challenge with the characters, but I'll write it down and make an attempt!

Exactly how I feel. I tend to like 'journey'-stories the most (with a goal and a journey of some kind to achieve it) but there's a ton of good books out there. It's always good to get some reccomendations when exploring new genres, though. A bad start can really ruin your realtionship with specific kindsof books.
