Dance of Tundra by Paperiapina Dance of Tundra by Paperiapina
This drawing belongs together with Rythm of Thundra drawing I did two years ago.

Actually, I had started drawing this already right after finishing its pair, but never got around to finish it untill last Tuesday. It was lying in my files, all sketched and half colored and all forgotten untill I found it and decided it was about time to finish it. Discovered that I was a bit rusty on my favourite medium (colored pencils on colored paper) since I haven't used it in such a long time, but it was really refreshing to pick my Derwent Studios once again. ^^

Mammoths rule. The world needs more of them. As I did with the other part of this picture pair, I'd like to challenge you people to draw mammoths too, if you like. Special virtual cookies for everyone who's brave enough to draw an anthro mammoth. They aren't the easiest things around.

And like last time, I think I might try my hand at these fuzzy elephant anthros again. 'Cause they indeed are challenging and just... lovely.

Very beautiful picture again, fits right with her 'sister' :D

Oh so gorgeous :) Mammoths are wonderful, and you've done very well with the movment in both pics, and the coloring; it makes their fur look so soft!
