Anum

And the series goes on... Man! I haven't drawn characters of this race for ages. Nueni, or Colbe's wolverines, as they were originally known. These guys live on the same planet as enhauns, Colbe, yet they have evolved on different continents on different sides of the planet. Nueni belong to more primitive group of animals, they still have three nostrils, give live birth to their 'cubs', as mammals, but they don't have breasts so they aren't really mammal-like creatures. They feed their youngs same way than most birds do.

Heh, I like these character sheets. I drew them so that you can see their sizes compared to each others if you put the pictures next to each others.

Special skills: As a nueni Anum is heavier and stronger than most enhauns. He has thick skin and he won't be easy to harm. He has good night vision and sense of smell, and nueni are famous to have extremely poverfull jaws that can crack open just about anything (they are partly skavengers, and for them it's important to be able to break all sorts of bones). Anum usualy works as a scout, and he's a pretty good one. He isn't very fast, but he can keep running for days without stopping if necessary.
Personality: Anum is rough and not very discreet person. He usualy says what he thinks, and he doesn't care if he's being ignored or anything like that. He is quite happy person, but he's not tolerant for teasing. If people mistreat him, hi'll mistreat them, and it's not too nice thing, when he is strong and stubborn. If he decides to go here, he'll also go here, and you have nothing to say about it. He has some sort of special position within the rebel group he belongs to, even though he is nueni, a lower and inferior creature (from enhauns' point of view) the leaders of the group still respect and listen to him. He isn't as stupid as you look like, ya know.
Outlook: Anum is just like any other nueni, light brown with darker brown markings. He has long mane as every other adult male nueni, so he is often just ignored by people. He reaches average enhaun to shoulder when standing on two legs (then he's plantigrade) and his shoulder is at hip height to enhauns when he's on all four (and digitigrade). Unlike enhauns, who'se lower arms are tiny and useless, nueni's lower arms are very dexterious, and they work as well as the upper arms of enhauns. This confuses most enhauns who don't work with nueni every day. Enhauns usually don't look their lower hands as carefully as they should, especially when big and thick upper arms are distracting..
